No Mercy is the debut album from one of the Learning Disabled music scene’s leading lights. Zombie Crash are a loud, noisy, chaotic heavy metal band of 4 friends writing songs about whatever they please, including vampires, zombies, girls and rocking out in a band.
They are a heavy metal band with a difference, 4 of the 6 members have learning disabilities. Their differences however don’t restrict but rather give them the freedom to create music and performances that are wild, unhinged and true to themselves.
They challenge people’s perceptions and push the boundaries of what Learning Disability music can be. They are un-pretentious with a sense of humour and live they are a truly exciting and visceral force. Influenced by the likes of Iron Maiden, Slipknot, Heavy Load, Motörhead, and Red Hot Chili Peppers, Zombie Crash formed in 2009 through the Charitable Arts organisation Carousel and its music initiative “Shut Up and Listen!” giving them the opportunity to make the music they want to make. They are based in Brighton in the UK.
